I am not really interested in having a home birth because I sure do love my epidurals. And even had I wanted a home birth this time that simply wasn't an option. But seeing you and your baby have skin to skin contact right after birth - I was envious. The envy was probably magnified because your pics went up when we were still in the CICU and I couldn't even hold my baby without getting the nurses to help me rearrange all the cords and tubes.

Also, my after-birth contractions were not nearly as bad this time. I don't know if that was because I was pumping for the first few days (rather than breastfeeding, which is when my post-birth contractions have been worst with the other two), but I anticipated they would be horrible, and they weren't at all. So maybe they won't be worse for you if you have a fourth?Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00248348740599788697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9056774272549749739.post-4539326341465589262015-09-25T22:28:11.734-04:002015-09-25T22:28:11.734-04:00Thanks for sharing; the birthing process is so sp...Thanks for sharing; the birthing process is so special and memorable! I expected it to be like the others before. It is crazy how each birth can be so unique. You are awesome for staying strong and working through the labor. Congratulations!Renaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00304324153463980805noreply@blogger.com
