A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play, his labour and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself he always seems to be doing both. Enough for him that he does it well. - Lawrence Pearsall Jacks, 1932

Memorable Moments from Today
I caught Libby coloring on the walls. As soon as I said, "Libby!" she nearly jumped out of her skin and started running down the hall. I think that's a clear sign she knew what she was doing was wrong. And that is why I only have washable crayons in the house.
Libby pulled the D off my keyboard. Which is making this very hard to type.
The nurturing spirit she is, Libby has taken to feeding snacks to her baby doll. Today, she took it a step further to include 2 dimensional characters and offered a pacifier to a boy in her favorite book, I Took the Moon for a Walk.
As I was putting Libby to bed and she had fallen asleep in my arms, I heard her laugh in her sleep. It was awesome.

your daughter is starting to get a mullet-ish hairstyle. you can't hate on my hair as a kid anymore.
also, random but when we were in IL and you made those quesadillas i got hooked. I just thought you should know that my lunch almost everyday includes a white cheddar/pepper jack quesadilla. (unless i'm eating something vegan, gee thanks jenn)
Isn't being a parent awesome? I am just blown away by how much sheer joy my kid brings me.
Also, Magic Erasers.
Love it! She's getting so big/so much hair! The story reminded me of the time Elliott said, "I'm not going to tell you what I was doing with these scissors." (Wanted to wear a new pair of pants so he took it upon himself to cut the tag off but he cut the pants a little too)
haha. she's such a little rascal and so cute about it. that is so funny (to me- not to you) that she pulls the keys off of your keyboards. so great.
